How it works

Short-term rental profit depends heavily on occupancy and seasonality. Platform fees differ by fee structure; adjust the host fee to match your account. Check local STR permits and taxes.

The formula

Nights = 365 × occupancy;  stays = nights ÷ avg stay
Gross = nights × nightly + stays × cleaning fee
Profit = gross − platform fee − cleaning cost × stays − fixed × 12

FAQ

What host fee should I use?

Use the fee shown in your platform account. Split-fee and host-only fee structures differ.

Are occupancy taxes included?

No. Taxes collected from guests are passed through and not counted as revenue here.
